Our Wilmaa has turned three: the birthday party was a real bash. Together with the Wilmaa team we took this opportunity to examine the past three years. Then during the most exciting part of the party we were caught up in animated conversation about all the things we'll be able to offer you, our loyal Wilmaa users and fans, during the next three years. After all this "hard work" we then toasted our birthday kid: we're proud of our Wilmaa.

After the Wilmaa Remote Control App last spring, the Wilmaa TV App is now available for download in the iTunes App Store. Meaning you can now also watch TV on the go. The TV App has been specially optimized for all Web-enabled mobile devices from Apple.

Using the TV App is subscription-based and works only in Switzerland. It is available in two languages: German and English. By purchasing the Wilmaa TV App for CHF 5.50 you can watch TV for an entire month. Afterwards you can select from among a number of options for continued TV viewing enjoyment: an additional month costs CHF 5.50 CHF, three months CHF 14.00, six months CHF 26.00. And for only CHF 41.00 you can watch TV on the go for an entire year. You can transfer your personal subscription to all your Apple mobile devices.

In order to prevent data transfer charges from getting out of hand, you can determine how much traffic the Wilmaa TV App may generate: once the limit specified by you is reached the TV App automatically severs the connection, preventing any further charges from being racked up. However, we recommend that you use the Wilmaa TV App when you have free Wi-Fi access so that you can enjoy Internet TV for hours on end without any limitation or wallet worries.

The jury selected nine projects and the audience rendered its verdict: Wilmaa — Switzerland’s first browser-based Internet TV — is the Master of Swiss Web 2010.

At the 10th „Best of Swiss Web Awards“, the expert jury awarded prizes for the best web products and projects. Wilmaa was the recipient of several awards, taking silver in the "Innovation" and "Usability" categories by wowing the jury with its innovative prowess, clear-cut design and intuitive GUI.
