The company Wilmaa GmbH operates an interactive web TV (called "Wilmaa" below) on the website www.wilmaa.com ("Website") To use Wilmaa you have to register. When registering you disclose personal data. Wilmaa operators treat your personal data with the strictest confidentiality and during processing adhere to legal requirements and the principles below. This data protection declaration/privacy policy supplements our conditions of use. By using our services, you are agreeing to the following conditions.

1. COLLECTING AND STORING DATA

1.1 The data you enter
It is free of charge at the present time to register as a user of Wilmaa. During registration we log your username and password, your e-mail address, your sex, post code, date of birth and the country you live in.

1.2 Data automatically collected by Wilmaa
During access to our website, general access data are saved in a log file for the production of statistics. This is namely:

  • Date and time of access
  • Name of the accessed file
  • Access status (OK, Partial content, document not found, etc.)
  • Page from where access took place
  • Top Level Domain (*.ch, *.fr, *.com etc)
  • Web browser used
  • Operating system used

Furthermore the operators of Wilmaa can collect and save other access data for recording and analysing website use by means of cookies. Cookies are small data packages which the browser deposits on your hard drive upon request from a web server. They contain data with which the server can recognise you again at your next visit and use them to query personal default settings and then restore them again. 2. USE OF DATA

Your information is stored in your user profile. This user profile can be viewed by the Wilmaa operators.

We need the e-mail address you gave when registering as a user, so that with just one click, we can bring you any requested information or the Wilmaa newsletter, together with the latest information about our services. If you don’t want to receive the Wilmaa newsletter, you can specify this accordingly when registering for Wilmaa and also change this again at any time. The Wilmaa operators are entitled to use your e-mail address to inform you about future interactive Web-TV offers. We do not give out your contact details to a third party without your consent.

2.3 Anonymised evaluation and use of data
We aim to continually meet the needs of our users and optimise our service package. To this end, we analyse the data you gave us during registration and also the access data automatically generated during registration (cf. 1.2). Such evaluation of data of any kind is always in an anonymised form. Incidentally, Wilmaa operators use automatically generated data for anonymised, statistical analyses. Wilmaa operators do not generate any personal analysis of such data and any personal details are kept strictly separate. It is possible that access to our website may be monitored additionally and authorised by external, neutral advertising and research companies (Net Audit). Such verified access data are used as evidence of the extent of marketing and sales effort. Also during such a Net Audit no analysis of personal data takes place.

2.4 Data for advertising and behavioural targeting
Whenever you visit our web pages, our advertising partners record your interests using cookies, e.g. type of articles (e.g. within the sport category).
These cookies are completely anonymised, do not contain any data about you personally and are guided by the regulations of the "Informationsgemeinschaft zur Feststellung der Verbreitung von Werbeträgern e.V. 5. AMENDMENT TO DATA

If you would like to terminate your membership of Wilmaa, you can delete your account by e-mailing kontakt@wilmaa.com. 6. RIGHT TO INFORMATION

At any time you have the right to demand information about whether and which personal data about you are saved with Wilmaa operators. Send any such enquiries with a copy of your identity (ID card or passport) by e-mail to kontakt@wilmaa.com.

7. NO RELEASE OF DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

Wilmaa operators do not pass any of your personal data to third parties unless in individual cases they are obliged to do so, due to an order from a regulatory or judicial body.

8. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

The operators of Wilmaa reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy within the framework of applicable data protection law. In each case, these changes are notified and publicised on the website. You are bound by the respective current version of the Privacy Policy as soon as you make use of Wilmaa's services. Should we want to use your personal data in a fundamentally different way to that specified during the entering process, we will publish this with an appropriate notification on our website for a period of 30 days.
