For well over a year now wilmaa.com has offered you My Time Machine for time-shifted TV viewing: recording of more than 50 broadcasts over a period of over one month, around the clock.
New legislation
Recently the competent Swiss court handed down a ruling in response to the pressure being applied by Hollywood’s studios, performing rights societies and content providers to regulate the recording feature. We regret to inform you that as of 1 January 2013 we are being forced to adapt the Premium Service accordingly.
Previously 30, now 7 days
As a Premium user you will continue to be able to record any broadcasts around the clock. You can take advantage of the 30-day recording service only until 31 December 2012. Starting on 1 January 2013 the new regulations will go into effect and the recordings of your programs will only be available to you for seven days.
We sincerely regret having to take this step. However, in order to enable you to continue to enjoy legal TV viewing at any time, we are complying with the new regulations going into effect on 1 January 2013. We trust you understand the necessity for doing this.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish you peaceful and pleasant holidays with TV viewing enjoyment rich in variety.
Regards, your Wilmaa team

Menu Nav, Wilmaa TV Guide and TELE Tips
The menu navigation is now located at the left edge of your screen, i.e. no longer at the bottom. This makes for more intuitive use, a clearer layout and easier access.
We have also streamlined the Wilmaa TV Guide and TELE Tips so that you can locate your favorite programs even faster.
For Wilmaa Premium also: Live Pause, Rewind & Fast-Forward, and Time Machine
Wilmaa’s three popular features Live Pause, Rewind & Fast-Forward, and the time slider are now repositioned at the bottom edge of the TV viewing area. And the Wilmaa Time Machine has made a comeback: you can select the day’s programs directly on the timeline; all the other programs of the last 31 days are listed in the TV Guide.

Our Wilmaa has turned three: the birthday party was a real bash. Together with the Wilmaa team we took this opportunity to examine the past three years. Then during the most exciting part of the party we were caught up in animated conversation about all the things we'll be able to offer you, our loyal Wilmaa users and fans, during the next three years. After all this "hard work" we then toasted our birthday kid: we're proud of our Wilmaa.
